What you can make
- Vertical 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, or wide 16:9 for regular YouTube videos.
- A moving visualizer that reacts to the music, in any color you pick.
- Your caption, such as the song and artist name.
- Your own background image or GIF, with adjustable opacity. GIFs can be slowed down to match the song.
- Clips of 15, 30 or 60 seconds, or the full song.
How to make a slowed + reverb video
- Load your song on the homepage and set the speed and reverb you like.
- Scroll to Make a video and choose Vertical 9:16 or Wide 16:9.
- Type a caption, choose a color, and add a background image or GIF if you want one.
- Pick a clip length. Click the waveform first to choose where the clip starts, ideally right before the hook.
- Click Make video. It records in real time, so a 30-second clip takes 30 seconds. Keep the tab open until it finishes, then the video downloads.
Tips for videos that do well
- Start on the best part. Short-form viewers decide in the first second or two.
- Keep the caption short. Song and artist is usually enough; it needs to be readable on a phone.
- Match the mood. Night skies, rain, city lights and anime scenes are popular backgrounds for slowed + reverb.
- Slow the GIF down. Setting GIF speed to around 0.5–0.8× makes the visuals feel in sync with a slowed song.
- Lower the background opacity if the visualizer or text is hard to see.
Watermark
Free videos include a small Slowervibe watermark. Watermark-free video packs are coming soon.
Copyright
Videos that use popular songs can be claimed or muted by the platform, because the song still belongs to the artist and label. Credit the artist in your description.
